What happens when you come across a family historian who is reaching millions of people with the message that our photos and our stories matter? You find out more about him and his mission by interviewing him!
That’s exactly what I did with Thomas Allen Harris, host of the PBS series Family Pictures USA.
In 2019 Thomas Allen Harris traveled to over 60 cities and brought thousands of people and their photos together in live events. The result is the fascinating photos and stories shared on the Family Pictures USA show. Some of the stories give us insight into the history of America, many will tug at your heart strings, and all show us that we’re more alike than we are different.
