We collect information that you choose to provide to Us through the Contact Us or Help Desk features on Our Websites. Your use of these features is entirely voluntary, and the information you provide Us is up to you. If you request for Us to contact you, other than an email address, you are not required to provide any personal information and We encourage you not to include any information that We do not need or that you do not want Us to have.
Our classes are sold through Thrivecart and delivered through teachable.com’s online classroom software (“School”).
We collect information that you choose to provide to Us when you register for one of Our web-based classes (“Service(s)”) in order to provide Our Services to you. Your use of this feature is entirely voluntary, and the information you provide Us is up to you. However, if you do not provide any personal information, We may not be able to provide you access to the Service for which you wish to register.
If you choose to participate in a Service, We will need to obtain your first and last name and email address at the time of account creation during the administration process. The email address is used as your account identifier and to send relevant class registration and followup information. You may choose at any time to opt out of receiving emails from Our classroom system by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
Once a user has registered for a Service online, they may log in and provide additional account information. Online purchases for Our products and Services are processed by Stripe or PayPal with secure technology through Thrivecart’s proprietary system.
Our blog is a WordPress site and uses standard WordPress processes for collecting information when a visitor adds a comment to a post, which includes first and last name, email address, and IP address. Your choice to leave a comment on Our blog is voluntary. By making a comment to a post on Our blog you consent to the collection of this information.
Our weekly newsletter, which We deliver by email to subscribers, is administered through ActiveCampaign.com. When you subscribe to Our newsletter, ActiveCampaign collects and stores your name and email address in their system. ActiveCampaign tracks individual subscriber’s opens and click-throughs for each email broadcast for the purpose of helping Us improve Our newsletter service and to track the effectiveness of Our marketing.
We market through paid Facebook advertising. Data submitted in response to Our Facebook advertisements is processed and stored by Facebook, ActiveCampaign, and other third party entities that handle our website, marketing, statistics, shopping cart, and sale processing functions. Third party partners store and process data according to their respective privacy and data processing policies. ActiveCampaign tracks individual subscriber’s opens and click-throughs for each followup email broadcast for the purpose of helping Us serve relevant content, improve Our advertising, and to track the effectiveness of Our marketing.
We occasionally market through affiliates who promote Our classes on their respective websites and receive a commission when a customer signs up for a class through Our classroom system. We use Thrivecart as our Affiliate Management software. Thrivecart stores and processes user data according to Thrivecart’s privacy and data processing policies. When a customer clicks on an offer for one of Our classes on an affiliate’s website the URL passes through Thrivecart’s software and a cookie is placed on the site visitor’s computer in order to associate the specific class offer and customer with the affiliate. Personally identifiable information is not associated with the cookie. After a customer purchases a class through an affiliate link, affiliates have the ability to log into Our system and see the customer’s first and last name, class purchased, and date of purchase.

We may collect information automatically as you navigate through Our Websites. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through automated tracking technologies (described below). The technologies We use for this automatic data collection may include:
Cookies (or browser cookies):
A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. Cookies are required in order to use Our classroom software and customer information management software. If you do have cookies turned on in your browser, Our site will only use them to store a randomly generated session ID. The session ID allows your browser to maintain a continuous user session with Our site, contains no personally identifiable information, and is used for no other purpose.
Pages of Our Websites may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) that permit Us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages, and for collecting other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals:
Your browser may include settings that allow you to send a signal to websites that indicate that you do not want to be tracked. We currently utilize Google Analytics to measure site traffic, regardless of “do not track” signals. We do not collect or share personally identifiable information about your online activities through web tacking mechanisms, therefore “Do Not Track” signals are not honored. Information collected or shared about your online activity does not identify you.
Children Under the Age of 16:
The Websites are intended for use by adults 18 years of age and older. The Websites are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 16, you may not register for any of Our services, We do not recommend that you use this website or any of the features on the website, and you should not provide any information about yourself to Us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or username you may use. Upon becoming aware of a security incident, Scrapper’s Guide LLC shall notify customers without undue delay and shall provide timely information relating to the security incident as it becomes known or as is reasonably requested by customer.

Do Not Track is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers.
